Day 6 - Three different types of museum goers

Today we went to several museums and I came to the realization that it's not an easy task with three kids who have varying degrees of interest, patience, and stamina. I have decided I have three types of museum goers:

Melina:  Melina has an initial strong interest in any museum we are at.  However, once inside she whips through every corridor to get her lay of the land, and then hurriedly tells everyone about any surprise ahead...secretively relishing the fact that she is taking the surprise away. She is the first to be interested, but also the first to want to leave; usually because she is thirsty, hungry, tired, bored or a combination of some sort.  That being said, if the museum has a focus on weaponry or violence she becomes quickly engaged; the bloodier the better.

Sophia: Sophia doesn't even pretend to have an interest in a museum unless it is directly related to some personal story; preferably a tragedy of some sort.  She glams on to anything depressing and stories of human suffering, therefore Berlin is clearly a good place for her.  However, when the museum has a political, technical or cultural focus, she is much more inclined to assess the people within the museum rather than the museum itself. I can rely on her to report on anyone being 'inappropriate', dressing 'tacky', or reacting in any way she finds odd or misplaced.

Michael: Michael is the most intense museum goer there is.  He reads EVERY SINGLE thing in sight, including the bathroom signs.  He picks up every pamphlet, quickly reads and then starts stating facts he has gleaned.  He will ask anyone who seems credible around him for more information or clarity on a subject.  He generally has many questions afterwards that need to be cleared up immediately to satisfy his need to understand the whole picture.  He is incredibly inconsiderate of other museum goers and in his thirst for knowledge will quickly push his way to the front, even with small children, to get a front seat or read something. Afterwards, he will remember every single detail and is able to irritate those around him by reciting all facts with confidence.

Below is a picture I snapped in one of the museums....I didn't ask them to pose and I think it says it all.
